Sachi Skin Accuses Current State of Trademark Infringement in Lawsuit

Alleges trademark infringement in addition to false designation of origin and federal unfair competition, and dilution by blurring and/or tarnishment.

Skin care brand Sachi Skin has filed a lawsuit against Current State, whose parent company is Seemark Brands, alleging trademark infringement.   Per court documents, Sachi Skin – founded by Farah Bashir with four products which holds trademarks for States of Skin, New States of Skin, State of Change – alleges Seemark Brands and its cofounders, Emily Parr and Majeed Hemmat, of trademark infringement in addition to false designation of origin and federal unfair competition, and dilution by...
